We recognise the effect that businesses like ours have on the environment. We aim to identify issues and make reductions to this impact a priority.
Carbon Neutral Status
We have been awarded Carbon Neutral status for three years running. We use the accreditation to monitor our CO2 production and investigate ways to lower our emissions.
The offset on our most recent award has helped to manage and replant forests in the UK. We take environmental factors into consideration when selecting new products, suppliers and equipment. We have also significantly reduced the amount of waste that goes to landfill as we are now able to recycle our ground coffee - to the tune of approximately 9 tons per year!
Single Use Plastic
Our takeaway coffee cups, despite appearances, are entirely compostable. Our sandwich packaging is plastic free and we are and have stopped using single use carrier bags.
